There is a goof fellow translator over at the respectable ProZ forums who objects to being able to cite only 15 specialisations for potential clients.
“I am working in all field, OK?” he miffs, then goes on to list oh, this many fields of specialisation.
Next he gets peeved when, um, someone suggests that claiming questionable expertise in certain areas (e.g. legal, medical) could have some serious ramifications, and replies:

I think your exagerration on expertise lead to this end. What is more I know many fields deeper than any translator should know. They count more than 15. It is matter to be deliberated between translator and client.
Just think in this site you may show 100 languages but 15 specialisatiton (Most of which are still not independent at all). It is funy.
