The wayward shoe project
Unable to shake my fascination with how all those lone shoes end up on the side of the road, I hereby invite you to send in photos of any abandoned footwear you might happen upon in your travels (prom dresses too could be fun, but perhaps a little sordid for our purposes).
I look forward to seeing that pair of sneakers slung over Melbourne powerlines, the shoe tree in Stevensville, Ontario and the graveyard boots of South Africa (I wonder if that’s to help travel the footpath to the afterlife).
